As we all know, the nonprofit organizations we care deeply about play a crucial role in addressing social issues and making a positive impact on communities. And we are also too used to the fact that limited resources and multiple competing demands can make it challenging for these organizations to prioritize improvement initiatives effectively.
As we have been discovering the last few weeks, we can use Lean Six Sigma methodologies to create a structured approach to identify and eliminate inefficiencies, reduce costs, and enhance the overall effectiveness of the nonprofit organizations we love and care for.
As we continue to work through the DMAIC framework today we will explore how nonprofit organizations can create a Lean Six Sigma prioritization matrix to optimize their project management efforts and ensure the highest possible impact in achieving their mission, as we enter the “I - Improve” part of the DMAIC problem solving process.
