A group meeting on leadership opens up a new world

The Conversation

I was in a conversation with a group of like minded individuals. Some people call them life groups, others mastermind groups, but I have been parts of these groups for years. Some virtually, most in person. These groups are helpful because you can really get a lot of good knowledge and wisdom from listening and thinking from others. I think that is the key with group conversations. In one-on-one settings, it has been my experience most people end up dominating those conversations. The give and take isn’t always there. Group conversations are a little different; in our desire to learn from others, we do a lot more listening in a group context than we do in a one-on-one conversation
